On the move
There's no stopping him now. On Monday night something clicked and Max finally realized that this crawling business is more than just a trick to perform for the crowds. It's a means of transportation to a whole world previously out of reach. Now he seems to realize the time he's wasted and wants to see it all. Nothing is safe - especially Richard's food. Richard seems perplexed that this thing which has never really moved before can now track him down. Yesterday morning while I was getting ready for the day, Max crawled up in to the shower.
All the adventures are tiring both Max and I out but Max is so excited to keep discovering that he resists naps even more now. He refused to go to bed in the afternoon on Tuesday and then exhaustion got the better of him and he fell asleep in his high chair. Check out his skills below.

I love Max! He is so adorable. :)
Hey Sara,
It was really fun to see you guys last Sunday. I can see that Max has been on the move a lot lately! Tell him not to lose all of that baby fat too fast. I wont be able to squish him anymore!
Your house looks so pretty decorated for Christmas. I am jealous because we have nothing but boxes to look at right now.
Talk to you soon,
Alyssa Brimhall
PS Tell Richard that he has a big friend named Payton coming in January to play with!
So so cute! It is crazy how much he has grown since we first met him. :) And he just keeps right on getting cuter!
Whatta champ! I so wish we lived close so Max and Bentley could be friends!
The crawling video is mind blowing. I've watched it five times now. I love the way his hands slap down on the tile.
He is such a cute little boy! I love those chubby cheeks!
Hey Sara and Matt! I just found the link to your blog on the Johnson's blog. It's so weird that you're living in Kentucky because we're getting ready to move there in a couple of weeks! Where do you live? Brock got a job in Cincinnati, and we're buying a house in Independence KY. Your little boy is so cute!
I'm so happy to stumble upon your blog! How are you? How long have you been in Kentucky? What is Matt doing? Are you getting to stay at home with Max? He's adorable by the way. Love those cheeks! :) What is he 8 months now?
